It is a legacy of AIMS to lead Hackathons across the nation with innovative solutions.
Led by brAInwave 2.0, a 36-hour national hackathon and one of DTU’s largest student-led technology events. Around it sit HackDays by MLH, AIMS X ACM workshops, Promptify, the WorldQuant Quant Workshop, Build With Gemma by Google, and Orientation 2025.

AIMS DTU teams conquered India's most prestigious government hackathons, securing National Winner titles by engineering deep learning and hardware systems.

A parameter-efficient cross-modal SAR-to-Optical retrieval architecture achieving Global #2 on BEN-14K (70.41% F1) by integrating Rank-64 LoRA adapters into a frozen Copernicus-FM backbone, cutting trainable parameters by ~56% (118M to 51.2M) while replacing EMA teacher-student pipelines with EMA-free SIGReg regularization. Delivers sub-millisecond retrieval latency (0.013 ms/query) via a decoupled dual-head architecture with a production-grade FAISS IVFFlat index, implementing future work of SOTA CR-JEPA on resource-constrained Kaggle T4 GPUs.
